1877-80 envelopes to Cape of Good Hope (5), Natal (3) and Orange Free State (2), carried on a variety of vessels and all but one franked with 6d. grey, one to the Cape held on arrival and redirected to Lydenburg, one franked at 2½d. with "insufficiently/prepaid" handstamp and charged "10", and one to Major Bromhead in Natal redirected to Gibraltar. Also 1882 envelope (210x102mm.) registered from Birmingham "via Plymouth" to Cape Town franked at 1/2d. cancelled "75" and with datestamp alongside, both in blue
