1864 (July) blue envelope from Howick to Leeds, carried on the Roman to Cape Town and thence by the same vessel on her fourth homeward voyage under the second contract, bearing 1864 6d.lilac pair each neatly cancelled "13" and with faint Berri type despatch datestamp at foot (apparently the sole example recorded on cover), Paid Devonport Cape Packet datestamp (24.9) at left, arrival datestamp (26.9) on reverse.
