1858-63 envelopes (7) to various members of the Maclear family at the Royal Observatory at Cape Town and franked at 6d. (one with 2d. strip of three), carried on either the Celt, Dane or Norman (2), to Sir Thomas by the Himalaya between the first and second contracts en route to Mauritius after the sailing of the last Union steamer to England under the first contract, and the Saxon during the second contract with "1/-" charge handstamp which should have been 1/6d. based on the shortfall plus one full rate; generally fine
