1890 (7 Jan.) cover to Ohio, U.S.A. bearing 4d. pair tied by crisp c.d.s., the envelope marked "2½" in red crayon and showing Eshowe, Durban and New York transit marks to reverse; this is the only recorded cover with the Entonjaneni canceller to a destination other than Pietermaritzburg or the United Kingdom and the latest known cover with the canceller showing the month before the day; a little tatty though a scarce commercial franking
