1896 (13 Jan.) soldier's envelope from "No. 3287 Pt. West. H Coy. 1st. Bn. King's Regt." to Canada, countersigned by the Commanding Officer and bearing 1892 1d. carmine cancelled by datestamp with a further strike alongside, New York and Parry Sound (27.1) datestamps on reverse; small faults though an unusual destination. Also 1895 envelope from London to Battalion Headquarters in Barbados bearing Barbados 1892 2½d. cancelled in London and sent without penalty
