Bolaffi, the lower left with the smallest blemish on the reverse, mentioned only for the sake of accuracy. A stunning Switzerland and air mail rarity, most unusual in a block of four. Note: This series was issued in 1938 to promote the Swiss 'Pro-Aero' campaign. A special air mail flight was to be conducted to thirteen Swiss cities carrying mail franked with these stamps. For efficiency, the stamps were issued pre-cancelled and very few exist without a cancellation.
