1839 (23 Dec.) printed wine list addressed to Inveran by Bonar, sent from Edinburgh and bears a fine strike of the Scottish standard type handstruck "4" and bearing, on the flap (which opens well for display), the Edinburgh despatch c.d.s.; redirected to Crieff, Perthshire and bears a clean but slightly watery strike of Bonar straight-line; the handstruck "4" has been crossed through and manuscript "8" added at left, the flap also bears a strike of the Edinburgh c.d.s. (26.12) which was added in transit. A clean and unusual cover. Photo
