A postcard from the German stamp dealer Otto Bickel to the London stamp dealers Bright & Son, dated 13 December 1904 advertising for sale a used example of the 8d. "eignt" error for £10. News of the error had reached Europe within nine months of the issue of the stamp and this is a very early and rare postcard advertising a stamp error of the Australian Colonies
