1863 perf. 12 2d. Prussian blue, watermark "1", lightly cancelled "18" (Mudgee); thin at foot not affecting fine appearance. Note: This error was discovered by Sydney stamp dealer T.H. Nicolle and reported by Bassett Hull in the "Australia Philatelist" in May 1904. Five other examples are known, all in institution collections. One is in the Royal Collection, and two in the Vickery Collection in the Powerhouse Museum in New South Wales. An example is in the Armstrong Collection in the Mitchell Library in New South Wales, and the H.L. White example in the New South Wales State Library is now believed lost.
