A small group (5) items including a 1916 airmail cover from Montreal to Long Beach bearing Canada 'Air' 5c. with type written endorsement on envelope 'early bird / flew before dec. 17, 1916' and signed "Sincerely - John McCurdy", with cut out photograph of McCurdy affixed, possibly later; large 10"x8" original photograph of McCurdy seated at the wheel of his plane stamped on reverse 'are force photo, wright-patterson air force base dayton, ohio'; together with three black and white picture postcards depicting McCurdy in flight and one showing McCurdy's wrecked plane at the International Aviation Meet, 1911.
