ALS, Free Fronts and cut signatures of Generals and other military personnel including 1753 cheque paying £300 to Sir John Lambert signed by the recipient, "Albermarle and by Nathan Solomon, 1761 "Memorial of Major Crawfourd, late Commandant of a Battalion raised by himself" in Scotland at the expense of "£477.10.9" asking Lord Viscount Barrington to posthumously promote Crawfurd to "confer upon him some other Mark of Royal Favour", 1822 & 1839 free fronts signed by Cardigan, 1853 "Raglan" free front, 1861 ALS from Captain Fairfax, 1878 ALS from Robert Napier of Magdala, cut signature of Lord Cathcart, 1884 Sir Redvers Henry Buller reporting his difficulties in negotiating cataracts on the Nile; Free Fronts of 2nd Baron Heathfield of Gibraltar and 12th Earl of Home; and 1879 franked cover seemingly from 3rd Earl Minto to his son Viscount Melgund at the FPO in Lahore, posted from Hawick bearing 8d. stamp.
