1769 (16 Jan.) Treasury document ordering the payment of a total of "£499.7.10½" to William Earl of Chatham. Signed "Grafton" by 3rd Duke of Grafton, "North" by Frederick North, 2nd Earl of Guildford, "Onslow" by George Onslow and "Lincoln" by the 9th Earl of Lincoln, with "Chatham" signed receipt on reverse. Filing line drawn through the middle of the document, as per custom and tear to left of document clear of text with old repair. A fine group of signatures three of whom future of current Prime Ministers or 1st Lords of the Treasury.
