1720 (19 July), letter signed relating to a power of attorney for Sir Robert Chaplain, "authorising and empowering any other persons at the Bank of England" on behalf of Lewis Dymoke. Document lightly pasted onto collectors page.

Lewis Dymoke (1669-1760) King's Champion to both George I and George II. Sir Robert Chaplain (1670-1726) who held a seat in the House of Commons until he was expelled owing to his role as Director of the South Sea Company under which title he oversaw the illegal inflation of their stock.
