1695 (17 June) exchequer warrant to pay a total of £1,775 to a list of six recipients for various duties to the crown including £300 to the Duchess Dowager of Buks as Royal bounty, £500 to Sir Robert Atkins, £125 to Mark Kirke, Maid of Honour to Mary of Modena and to Philip Howard for his services relating to "Barillia and Potashes". Signed clearly "William R" at the top and countersigned "Godolphin" and "Montague". Superb, in good condition though with old mounts to non-contemporary page on reverse.
