c.1641-43 document signed "Charles R". An incomplete but pre-signed fishing licence with blanks left for the name of recipient, name and origin of vessel and place of issue. Countersigned "B Gerbier" by Balthazar Gerbier. Document laid down on thin card otherwise in good condition, with contemporary coin.
