1950-52 handmade paper envelope registered locally bearing, on the reverse, 2/3 tr. indigo block of six (right side of setting 3 sheet) with margin at foot, tied by bilingual Lhasa postmark; with wax seals and manuscript registration mark on the address side. Some of the stamps are just cut into on the left side. A scarce multiple franking of this value paying the 4t. rate. Photo
