Honduras: American Tropical Planting Company (DE), First Mortgage plantation bond, $200, 1899, #1488, vignette of banana trees top left, green and black, gold seal, with coupons. It would appear that the company was offering parcels of land in this region which historically has been tried before by Gregor MacGregor but without success. The region is one of the most inhospitable in the world so it is no surprise. The Delaware Charter was repealed in 1903. GVF
