Lithuania: Lietuvos Zemes Banko, a temporary certificate for [one] share, 191[9], #692, issued by the Guaranty Trust Company of New York and signed by one of the committee of Lithuanians based in New York, brown and black. Issued a few months after the Act of Independence at the end of 1918 whilst Lithuania was fighting for its independence from occupation by Bolsheviks, West Russian Army and Poland. The Lithuanian currency of lits was introduced in 1920. VF and rare.
