People's Bank of China, 4th series renminbi, 1980-1990, consecutive run of 3x 100 yuan, 1990, BS02980058 to 060, the upper note is an error whereby the banknote paper is rotated by 180 degrees such that the security thread is on the left and the watermark of Mao's portrait is on the right, therefore this is a 'misplaced watermark error' as opposed to 'missing watermark error', (Pick 889b), graded PMG 65EPQ, 66EPQ and 66EPQ respectively.
