The recent Dave Iverson Study on Jubilee Head Coinage 1887-1893, noted: 'A very hard coin to find, only a tiny fraction of this year's production were produced using a short tail reverse die. The very few examples found now are almost always lower grade.' The study ascribed the rarity rating R5 (5-10 known)
