St. George and Dragon, edge milled, 8.01g, 6h (Murdoch III, 100[a]; Douglas-Morris 141; King - [cf. 186]; Marsh 1; MCE 464; Spink 3785), a minute scratch below chin, otherwise a most splendid example of the seminal date of issue for the 'New Sovereign' exhibiting full cartwheel mint lustre, almost as struck
