William and Mary (1688-94), Guinea, 1693, conjoined laureate and draped busts right, elephant only below, no stops on obverse, rev. crowned garnished shield (cf. King 132; cf. MCE 158; cf. S.3428), a small surface flaw before chin and an occasional surface mark on portraits, otherwise with much underlying lustre, thus a pleasing very fine, the type rare, the obverse legend variety previously unrecorded and not found in the Schneider collection
