[an.' fr.'] z hi.' rex, crowned bust right, rev. posvi dev• ad|ivtor|e.' mev.', square-topped shield over ornate cross (Stewartby V, 1649; N.1897; Laker H; S.2454), somewhat soft and abraded surfaces consistent with soil deposition, otherwise of sound metal and on a full flan, the portrait fine or near so for issue, the reverse considerably better and neatly struck up, a wholesome example of this very rare issue
