Edward IV first reign (1461-70), Groat, Heavy Coinage, Tower, type Ib[iv]/Ib[ii], 3.09g, 10h, m.m. plain cross (both sides), crowned bust facing, in double-tressure of 9 arches, fleurs on cusps, except above crown, pellets beside, lis on neck, rev. long cross and pellets, additional pellet in second and third quarters (Blunt & Whitton Ib[iv]/Ib[ii]N.1529; S.1969), on a small flan, with a dark tone and superficial scratching, otherwise a bolder fine
