Henry VI first reign (1422-61), Halfgroat, Annulet issue, York, 1.53g, 8h, m.m. pierced cross (on obv. only), lis either side of bust, saltire stops, rev. annulet stops, including an additional annulet in second and third quarter and after raci (Whitton 4; Lessen, obv. die 2/rev. die 2, BNJ 1993, pl. 8, 16/15 same dies; N.1430; S.1843) a piece of flan absent at 6 o'clock, and a hint of creasing to flan, otherwise a pleasing portrait coin, a bold very fine, extremely rare
