Henry VI first reign (1422-61), Groats, Calais (3), including, Annulet issue, 3.79g, 5h, m.m. pierced cross (both sides), annulets by neck, rev. annulet after posvi, and additionally in second and third quarters (N.1424; S.1836), some creasing, otherwise fine; also, Annulet/Rosette-Mascle mule, 3.64g, 7h, m.m. pierced cross/plain cross, similar to last, rev. rosette stops in reverse legend (N.1427/1446; S.1836/1859), nice tone in recesses but clipped small, otherwise good fine; lastly, Annulet issue, 3.61g, 5h, m.m. pierced cross (both sides), as first, rev. no additional annulets (N.1424; S.1837), crease marks and resultant splits to flan otherwise a strict fine, the reverse better, very rare (3)
