Edward III (1327-77), Halfgroats, Pre-Treaty Period, Tower, Series E (5), Series E/D mule, 2.11g, 8h (S.1576/1575), smaller but fuller weight flan, fair; Series E, 2.15g, 4h (LAL 6; S.1576), cleaned, fine; Series E/F mule, 2.06g, 10h (LAL -/4(F); S.1576/77), scruffy, poor; and Series E/Ga mule, 2.18g, 4h (LAL 13/8; S.1576/1578), almost fine; lastly, Pre-Treaty, Series E/Transitional Treaty Period mule, 1.96g, 8h (LAL 1e/1TT; S.1576/1611), this creased and scratches across bust, poor but extremely rare and unpublished, an interesting group (5)
