During Operation 'Desert Sabre' the 14th/20th Hussars led the Battle of Al Haniya on 25 February 1991, coming up against a Company of enemy T55 tanks, destroying one and two APC's in the opening shots. In total they scored 21 T55's and 16 APC's.
