1914-15 Star (Pte. J. Beckerley. S.A. Irish), note spelling, good very fine

John Beckerleg, a native of Alverton, Penzance, served as No. 363 in the 3rd Regiment, South African Infantry and died on 31 January 1916. He is buried in the Alexandria Military and War Memorial Cemetery.
