Egypt and Sudan 1882-89, undated reverse, 2 clasps, The Nile 1884-85, Abu Klea (J. Leonard, Pte. R.M.L.I.), light pitting, very fine

Joseph Leonard was born at Bristol on 26 July 1860 and enlisted in the Royal Marines Light Infantry on his eighteenth birthday. He served with the Naval Brigade and was present at the Battle of Abu Klea, received his Medal & 2 clasps on 21 December 1886 and was invalided on 11 May 1888.
