South Africa 1877-79, 1 clasp, 1879 (1833. Pte. D. Cox. 2-21st Foot.), nearly extremely fine

Private D. Cox is confirmed on the Roll with a single-clasp medal for service with the 2/21st (Royal Scots Fusiliers) during the Anglo-Zulu War of 1879; as well as much skirmishing during the preceding months the battalion was in action at the Battle of Ulundi on 4th July, the final battle of the war.
