Charles Fear enlisted in the 21st Regiment on 6 February 1840 and transferred to the 29th Regiment on 1 November 1847. He was discharged at Aldershot in February 1861, also in receipt of a L.S. & G.C. Medal, intending to live at Warminster, Wiltshire; sold with copied service record.
