Small notebook, The Alwych Book, its spine reinforced with tape, cover with label 'Solo North Pole 2003 Log Book', its contents being completed on a daily basis in ink, with locations, distances covered and comments on the conditions faced, ongoing developments and personal emotions; a log book recording the progress, conditions and emotions of the 1998 expedition; together with a larger notebook used on his 1994 expedition, this with entries in pencil and ink, a number of maps and instructional papers pasted in, a most unique account of the expeditions, worn but good condition (Lot)

Together with laminated photographs of his children, with their hand prints in paint and a poem to reverse, carried by Pen.
