(Civil) Knight Commander’s 2nd type set of Insignia, comprising neck Badge, silver-gilt and enamel, with neck riband; Star, silver, silver-gilt, and enamel, in its Garrard & Co. case of issue; The Most Honourable Order of the Bath, C.B. (Civil) Companion’s neck Badge, silver-gilt, with full width neck riband, in its Garrard & Co. case of issue; Jubilee 1935, in card box of issue; Coronation 1937, in card box of issue, nearly extremely fine (4)

William Edmund Hodges Rhydderch was born on 16 August 1890 and was educated at Llandovery College and Hertford College, Oxford, he entered the Civil Service and rose to be Deputy Chairman of the Board of H.M. Customs and Excise. Having earned his Knighthood and C.B., he died on 27 October 1961; sold together with 10 Downing Street confidential letter relating to award of C.B. and 1926 National Emergency bronze Medal, in its fitted case and copied research.
