E. Asia 1945-46 (14026 Sep. Todar, 2 Bn., F. F. Rif.), mounted for wear, cleaned, good very fine (6)
The unit served in the retreat from Burma in 1942 and remained at Assam and Ranchi until November 1943, when it joined the 4th Indian Infantry Brigade. They served in the Arakan in 1944 and thence for the invasion of Ramree Island on 15 January 1945, when they landed at Letpan. Sent to Sumatra in October 1945, the battalion spent over a year in-theatre, seeing fierce fighting with Indonesian partisans; sold with copied research.
