Imperial Service Medal, E.II.R. (Edgar Clarence Howes), in Royal Mint case of issue, extremely fine

Edgar Clarence Howes was born on 29 January 1892 at Great Yarmouth, the son of James William Howes and Elizabeth Howard. He served as a Storeman in H.M. Naval Establishments during the Second World War (London Gazette 20 March 1942, refers), and was later awarded the Imperial Service Medal. He died on 22 March 1981, having spent his final years living at 108 Palgrove Road, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.
