(x) China 1900, 2 clasps, Taku Forts, Relief of Pekin (H. Doidge, Qd. Sigln. H.M.S. Orlando.), good very fine

Harold Doidge was born on 18 October 1875 at Birmingham and entered the Royal Navy on 16 June 1892. Served as Quarterdeck Signalman aboard Orlando at China in 1900 (Medal & 2 clasps), he was released to the Royal Fleeet Reserve on 19 October 1905. Re-enlisted on 18 October 1910. Serving aboard Jupiter from 5 September 1914-19 May 1915, he was demobilised on 30 June 1919 as Leading Signalman.
