India General Service 1854-95, 1 clasp, Waziristan 1894-5 (2647 Pte. W. Smith 2nd Bn. Border Regt.), good very fine

William George Smith was born in Middlesex and enlisted in the Border Regiment, having already seen service with the 3rd Battalion, Middlesex Regiment. Besides his service in India, he saw action in South Africa from 27 September 1899-4 March 1900 (Queen's Medal & 2 clasps); sold with copied roll extract and service record.
