(x) Military General Service 1793-1814, 3 clasps, Corunna, Nivelle, Nive (John Trevett, Drumr. 76th. Foot.), edge bruising, good very fine

John Trevett enlisted as a Private in the 76th Regiment of Foot on 2 August 1806. Appointed Drummer on 24 August 1806, he spent his formative years in Ireland carrying out recruiting duties before serving during the Peninsula Campaign. He was discharged as Drummer on 24 January 1815 at St. Denis, France, but there is no indication that he ever received a pension; sold with copied research confirming entitlement.
