Voluntary Medical Service Medal (Mrs. Agnes Cottam.), nearly extremely fine

Agnes Cottam was awarded her First Aid Certificate and Home Nursing Certificate on 2 February 1940 (The Clitheroe Advertiser and Times, refers). Sadly, she suffered the loss of her husband Cuthbert on 9 August 1941 (The Lancashire Evening Post, refers), followed by the loss of her son Robert in an accident at Salthill Quarry in May 1949 (The Clitheroe Advertiser and Times, refers). She passed away aged 60 years two weeks later, being found at her home in Shaw Bridge, Clitheroe, Lancashire; sold with copied research.
