General Service 1918-62, 1 clasp, Palestine 1945-48 (Capt. D. W. McArthur. R.A.S.C.), very fine

Douglas Wilson McArthur was commissioned 2nd Lieutenant (Emergency) in the Royal Army Service Corps on 8 July 1944. Having served as a Captain in Palestine, he retired in June 1957; sold together with roll extract and two photographs of the recipient on his motorcycle.
