General Service 1918-62, 1 clasp, Palestine (6398658 Pte. C. B. Huntly. R. Suss. R.), nearly extremely fine

Clifford Bernard Huntly was born in 1916, the son of Bernard and Alice of Bedford. Huntly died of wounds suffered in action on 19 March 1941 and is buried in the Keren War Cemetery, Eritrea. His gravestone bears the inscription:

'THOUGH MILES APART YOU'RE IN OUR HEARTS AND WE SHALL MEET AGAIN SOME DAY. MUM.'
