1896 (c.) opened-out envelope registered to Foochow bearing a slightly worn strike pf the boxed "PAID" handstamp in black, with straight-line "Registered No. 9", red crayon cross for registration and a complete red wax seal with a superb impression of "local post/wuhu china"; there is a faint and indistinct strike of Shanghai Local Post c.d.s. and the cover has been initialled just below the Paid handstamp.
