Monocasy in Shanghai, "Care United States Consul" bearing both first issue ½c. cancelled by a single strike of the Kewkiang Local Post oval datestamp in purple, the reverse with Shanghai Local Post c.d.s. (22.6) and postman's delivery characters in blue crayon. Clean and fine. An early cover and scarce use of the first issue. Photo
