British Post Office: 1895 (2 Jan.) opened-out envelope to Hong Kong bearing, on the reverse, two ½c. dull orange-brown pre-cancelled by the boxed Ichang datestamp in black and cancelled by the circular "ichang/post office" cancellation in purple; the address side with Hong Kong 10c. purple on red tied by Shanghai (16.3) c.d.s. with Hong Kong (19.3) c.d.s. on the reverse. The envelope has been readdressed to Nagasaki with the arrival c.d.s. (28.3) further tying one of the stamps. There is some tone spotting but this is still a delightful and important cover. Photo
