French Post Office: 1896 (23 Feb,) envelope from Archibald Little to a family member in Surrey, England bearing 2ca. and 4ca. cancelled by a neat strike of the Chungking boxed datestamp with France "Chine" 25c. tied by two strikes of "shang-hai/chine" c.d.s. and, on the reverse, a good strike of the scarce, large "chungking l.p.o. shanghai agency" c.d.s. (1.3) in blue, circular Ligne N packet number 4 c.d.s. (11.3), Redhill Station (18.4) and Bletchingly arrival c.d.s. A very fine and neat cover. Photo
