British War and Victory Medal (F. 34603 H. Winser. A.C.1. R.N.A.S.), good very fine (2)

Henry Winser was born on 9 August 1881 at Stepney, London, and joined the R.N.A.S. on 31 July 1917 giving his occupation as clerk. After a brief spell of home service at Crystal Palace, he was posted to the Eastern Mediterranean on 14 September 1917, returning home a few months later via Louvain. He subsequently transferred to the R.A.F. on 31 March 1918.
