1914 Star and clasp (F. 269. A. E. Lancaster, Ldg. Mech. R.N.A.S.), rare, good very fine

Albert Edward Lancaster was born on 21 January 1880 at Peckham, London, and joined the Royal Naval Air Service on 4 September 1914 giving his occupation as motor mechanic. Posted in November 1917 to Daedalus, S.W. Group, he transferred to the R.A.F. on 31 March 1918.
