Diapaga: 1899 (29 July) opened out envelope to Versailles, redirected to Mantes, franked Benin 15c. with heavy Diapaga/Dahomey dotted circle cancellation with another strike repeated alongside (this with date partly improved by pen), a wide range of transit and arrival markings on the reverse being finally delivered on 19 Sept. after its long journey from outside the boundary of Dahomey reaching Porto Novo on 1 Sept.
