1838-1965 mint and used collection housed in a small box, containing a range of pre-stamp covers to and from France, a larger quantity of stamped covers and entires sent within France including some with scarcer frankings, a large amount of mint and used on pages including 1849-52 first issue with values to 40c. and the odd defective 1fr. carmine, later Empire printings with values to 5fr. used, a range of mint Semeuse and Merson issues, 1929 Tourist issues, several old well-filled albums, various French Colonies on pages and also some loose in packets; a large accumulation in mixed condition which would reward careful viewing
